WELDING AND ASSEMBLY

Welding is a special process of joining two or more parts into a whole. We have the appropriate certified welders and properly qualified welding engineers to ensure this process. All welds are pre-qualified with a WPQR (Welding Procedure Qualification Record) and the WPS (Welding Procedure Specification).

In the assembly process, the product takes its final shape. The steps are pre-planned in the technology department of the company. For the execution itself and a high-quality product, we help ourselves with pre-made jigs – we place the prepared positions in the specified place. We expand and develop the assembly process with clamping systems and welding tables, with which we achieve faster, and above all, modular solutions. For these solutions, we use the fields leading brand Demmeler.

SAW - ELECTRIC ARC WELDING UNDER POWDER

A significant share of welding in our company is also represented by the highly productive EPP process – electric arc welding under powder. The process is automated, which is why we have quite a few welding carts and dedicated clamping devices. The tendency to use twin-wire welding ensures greater productivity.

MIG/MAG WELDING IN PROTECTIVE GAS AR/CO2

The dominant process of joining elements in Metalna Senovo is MIG/MAG – welding in protective gas Ar/CO 2 . Welding is performed manually, automatically using welding carts, and for a large number of repeatable assemblies in welding cells, where welding is performed with the help of a robot.

MMA - MANUAL ARC WELDING WITH A COATED ELECTRODE

Years back REO – manual arc welding with a coated electrode was used en masse. The process is now used only if such requirements are prescribed, for welding hard-to-reach places, either for repair or in the field or as such.

GTAW – WELDING IN SHIELDING GAS AR

We are equipped with welding machines for TIG – gas tungsten arc welding. The procedure is used for smaller assemblies, welding of pipes, parts where the condition is to ensure the tightness of the elements and welding of light metal materials, for example aluminium.
